[strategy salon] sustainability action plan

The Sustainable Style Foundation (SSF) offers ‘strategy salons’ to its corporate members interested in integrating sustainability into their core business strategy. Strategy salons are intended to be half day, informal, off-site events in which key staff members come together to learn about key issues and trends in sustainability, as well as how best to integrate sustainability into their work in ways that create value for their company and it’s stakeholders.

Most importantly, because SSF ‘gets’ the importance of both good style/design and sustainability, we are able to present sustainability in a way that engages both operations staff and merchants.

Strategy salons are led by SSF Style Ambassador and Co-founder Sean Schmidt. A sample schedule appears below:

Intro to Sustainability – presentation & discussion	30 minutes – 12:15-12:45
Sustainability Groundrules – presentation & discussion	30 minutes – 12:45-1:15

The Science of Sustainability – presentation & Q&A	30 minutes – 1:45-2:15
The New Sustainability – presentation & discussion	30 minutes – 2:15-2:45
Triple Target Sustainability – presentation & discussion	30 minutes – 2:45-3:15
Break	15 minutes – 3:15-3:30
Sustainability at [your company] – discussion, other TBD (discussion, initial vision, strategy, plan)	90 minutes – 3:30-5:00
