Our Educate programs are designed to creatively provide news, information, resources and reviews of all things sustainable style.

SSF has three main program areas to focus our efforts to save the world in style. Our Educate programs are designed to creatively provide news, information, resources and reviews of all things sustainable style.

the ssf* blog | ssf’s source for sustainable news, product reviews and thoughts on living the sustainable lifestyle.

SSFtags | our consumer- and producer-friendly labeling program that indicates that a product (e.g. a product, service, event, project, company or organization, etc.) has incorporated sustainability efforts in some way. SSFtags accomplish two important things: 1. they encourage and enable consumers to easily identify and choose sustainable products and 2. provide companies and/or organizations an easy, affordable way to identify their product as one that has incorporated sustainability efforts. SSFtags offer a very different model than the many other labels used in the marketplace today. First, ssftags are cross-industry whereas others are industry specific. Second, SSFtags set out to identify products that have ‘something’ sustainable about them. In other words SSFtag products have reached a level of sustainability, but may not necessarily be ‘perfect’ on all marks yet. The truth is, there are many products out there that have incredible sustainability stories to tell, many that could profoundly change their industry, but they don’t get told because companies fear the bad press they might get from the things they’re NOT doing rather than good press for the positive efforts they HAVE made. An intriguing approach you say? Indeed. Groundbreaking? Absolutely!
