Re:Vision Announces Re:Volt - A Competition that Flips the Switch on Dirty Power

Filed in: events

ReVolt CompetitionUrban Re:Vision is sponsoring a series of design competitions that will challenge the way we think about traditional services; the first one on the list is ReVolt, and, as the name suggests, it's all about energy. The challenge: "how would you intelligently and sustainably power a city block? Think big ideas. Think small environmental impact. Think about ways to make a difference in how we fuel the future. ReVolt is your chance to flip a switch on the status quo of fossil fuels and dirty energy."

"Re:Vision was born out of the belief that each of us has a unique perspective along with a wealth of ideas, energy and resources. Within us lies boundless potential. These competitions are about inspiring innovation, tapping into existing ideas, and using them in new and amazing ways," says Stacey Frost, Re:Vision's founder. The deadline for ReVolt is April 1; a jury will award three cash prizes, and seven honorable mentions. The prize for each of the three finalists is $2,000.
